OKOLab - Enclosure

Designed with polycarbonate panels, the microscope enclosure envelops the microscope stage, nosepiece, and objectives while maintaining optimal focus stability. By circulating warm air, it ensures precise temperature control within the expansive surrounding volume. To safeguard electronic components like EMCCDs and spinning disk confocal, they are intentionally kept outside the enclosure, shielding them from the controlled temperature of 37°C. With a seamless alignment to the microscope's profile, the enclosure is supported by vibration isolation table posts, providing a stable platform for experimentation.


  • Wide temperature range: 3°C above ambient to 45°C

  • Optional TTL signal compatibility upon request

  • Convenient sliding doors on the front and side panels for easy microscope access

  • Optional black panels available for imaging in a dark environment, can be added post-purchase

  • Option to incorporate a Micro-Environmental Chamber for humidity and CO2 (and/or O2) control

  • CO2 (and/or O2) levels can be set using Digital (Bold Line) or Manual Gas Controllers

  • Precise temperature accuracy on the sample: 0.1°C

  • Compatibility with both inverted and upright microscopes

  • LED light with foot pedal and dimmer for customisable illumination inside the enclosure

  • Removable front panel with turn-to-open hinges for added accessibility

  • Models available for any XY stage and Piezo insert

  • Humidity control options: Vibration Free Humidity Module or Active Humidity Controller
